Cities of Copper and Wood

January 28, 2011

Today was a lazy day, up a bit later, walked to the Town square to admire the sites then onto breakfast at another hotel where we had Eggs Mexicana (scrabbled eggs with vegetables and of course refried beans, fresh fruit and OJ).  Next it was off to get the bikes at a parking area a ways from the hotel then a crazy drive out of the City….

A quick drive on to the waterfront where the locals were just getting set up for the daily market, we took in the sights of the island and the waterfront, then it was on to the wood carvers for a look at the local craftsmanship.

Another short drive to the City of Copper and a quick lunch…another amazing lunch!

Finally on to the highway and a one hour drive to our City for the night.  A Beautiful City full of University students, historical buildings and lots of motorcycles.

We ate dinner then wondered the main drag looking at all the Harley wan-a-bees, dressed in their colors and trying to look proud.  We met some great people tonight.
